A Big Thank You to The Air Capitol Cosmopolitan Club

On February 9th, 2008 the Air Capitol Cosmopolitan Club presented a donation to Great Plains Diabetes Research, Inc at their annual meeting held at Crestview Country Club.  Dr Challans gratefully accepted a check in the amount of $3000 which will go toward research to cure diabetes and will help support Camp Discovery.  All research funded by Great Plains Diabetes Research is done in Kansas.  The Air Capitol Cosmopolitan Club raised the money during their annual golf tournament.   The Cosmopolitan Club has been a dedicated supporter of both Great Plains and the American Diabetes Association for many years.  The club was founded in 1961 and is still going strong.  The evening consisted of club updates and presentations of checks to both Great Plains and to the American Diabetes Association.  Many thanks to the Air Capitol Cosmopolitan Club for their continued, highly appreciated support.
