Pump Therapy Training is a 2 hour class taught by a registered nurse who is a certified diabetes educator and certified insulin pump trainer.  The content includes Insulin pump therapy basics, as well as information regarding what is required to be successful using insulin pump technology.  There will be time for “hands on” with the various available insulin pumps as well as questions and answers. Continuous glucose sensor technology is also discussed in this class. This class needs to be taken before we can write a prescription for your insulin pump.
